I hear you on the front facing seats, but from 2018 all new car seats sold will be rear...

Male father going insane looking at baby seats

Please can someone help me with sound advice...not general opinion or "we got away with that". My daughter is 18months, she weighs 11kgs and has just grown out of the only car seat I could get to fit in my vw t3 multivan with factory fitted three point seatbelts. This seat was a maxi-cosi ...

Re: Various Leaks. Temp light flashing. Hot start issue.

Hi Mate, It was me you met in the services yesterday...glad you got it home ok...it wasn't looking the greatest yesterday for getting home. As I said yesterday I don't know that much about your engine variant. To me the flashing dash light was the coolant low light indicator, as someone above says y...

Re: THANK YOU for Camperjam

Hi All, I have been beaten to it...but i was just going to echo these comments and say how lovely, knowledgeable and friendly you all were. Particular thanks to Harry for talking to me and my brother in law for a good half an hour about syncros. We loved being taken around, my apologies for not know...

Re: Herman's welding and paint job...after years of planning

Hi everyone, I have entered Herman in the spring dub show and shine competition on 1st of March. It is a weird system where you upload a photo and people vote if they like your vehicle. From some of the VW's on the website I think people have had there cars up for a while. I wondered if people would...

Re: Herman's welding and paint job...after years of planning

Hi Drucifer, thanks very much...glad you like the bumpers, they are one of my favourite bits to. Yes it has been amazing driving it, I have had a fair few smiles. Weirdly so far it is attracting less attention than his old look, I think that is because the stars were so distinctive. I definitely pre...

Re: Herman's welding and paint job...after years of planning

Hi there, Well in terms of costs i was quite fussy with exactly what i wanted. Basically all the welding, new panels/ plating (for the little bits), they stripped it down, two tone paint, all doors off/ windows out, door shuts painted and boot floor, five wheels rubbed down and painted cream, van un...

Getting into my rear tailgate

Hi all, I hope you are well. I have a multivan with central locking, but the central locking has not worked for some years now. My van has just been repainted and had a new rear tailgate rubber seal fitted. When i got the van home I went to check the boot was locked as i usually do, but i found it w...

Re: Herman's welding and paint job...after years of planning

Hi Roydini, Thanks very much, you are exactly right I am so excited it is untrue. I am actually really proud, I have turned a £100 shed (it was literally in use as a shed when I bought in 08 and was going to scrap yard following week) into a member of the family I am proud of. It is crazy how much y...
