It's a proper forum- costs nowt to join unless you selling I think- google it. Your right on the T25 but other half thinks I'm getting to old to be crawling underneath and bending into the back altho the T4 is 19 ROLFyears old so I've already been doing much the same thing ! Jack

might be better posting on the T4/T5 forum I'm a member of it bought a t4 a while ago to convert selling my t25 (not sure if its a good idea, had her 8 years) ! Jack

Waiting for the auto choke on the carb to dis-engage drops the revs on the engine so less chance of wheel spin when starting off -'gently does it'- has worked for me in the past !

Hi I have a separate radio /cassette and cd player installed in our van both have rocker switches in line on live feed so when the rockers are off theres no power drain at all -just an idea (power comes from the radio live feed which has an in line fuse which was already in our van) Jack

update on problem - had me baffled - took it to a mate who knows about these vans, turns out it was a relay -it had welded itself on, but it wasnt on the backside of the fuse box where they normally are - it was stuffed up above fixed to the bulkhead along with another relay (Y REG early waterboxer ...

Hi,the well you have found is for the brake fluid- I believe the clutch master cylinder feeds from this also- the gear box oil is topped up from under the van on the gearbox -someone else will prob be a long in a mo to confirm Jack

thanks for answers- it has got a chicken switch but its not that -the fan stays on either way its switched - even tried a new switch still runs on- will investigate further but I'll have to leave it till after the wk end thanks Jack

radiator fan running......
constantly even with thermo switch wires pulled off and ignition off had to disconnect the battery to stop it ! Has anyone any ideas please its probably simple, but so am I (started not long after starting off engine not even warm )1.9 early waterboxer thanks Jack

We have a leisuredrive conversion and its for the gas bottle we also store our waste water bucket in it as well have a padlock on the flap for a kind of secure locker but never used it good sized space for storing stuff you dont need often Jack &Vi

bodge can be done ie- connecting rubber hose in -did it over a year ago (in same place)and still good but I keep an eye on it If monies tight it is a shortish term option - Jack

we've got a single on ours and its ok (although slightly short in length only a problem feet wise) but if your not sure give it a measure -a few inches does'nt really matter -ours is'nt memory foam though Jack

check the oil preasure sender on the engine block mine was spraying oil from the wire -had the same result you described bought a new one for a few quid -sorted
