How hard is it to change the spindles? Will it need setting up with Gasure etc after?

With regards to the fuel filter - the Belgian mechanic dude said it didnt have one, and he blew the lines through to clear it - but still have the prob, so dont think it's that.....

should you be able to get full throttle on the carbs with the twin solex's? My pedal (may be a replacement) doesn't allow the linkage on the carbs to completely open the butterflies... i'm thinking that is why it could be pretty slow, even at Full throttle I would have thought you could shorten the...

I'm guessing this would solve my probs, but is there a cheaper option - I had no idea carbs could cost so much - Doh!!!

2.0L Aircooled T25, power loss

Hi I've been using my 1981 Aircooled 2.0L for over a year, been driving back and forth from Holland/Belgium to Wales a lot, It's been brill, sits nicely on motorway at 70, and if i feel like it, it'll go 85 (try not to)... The other day I ran out of fuel, and since it's been losing power in 4th gear...
