This is a good source for the mountain http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snowdon the easiest path is the Llanberis path that basically follows the train track up, it's longer and quite exposed on that side so it could be quite cold, infact it could be very cold.....also it's not the most visually interes...

If you go to Tom's Field area, there are two of most spectacular views from pubs that I've experienced. They aren't a walk but not too far away that: + Scotts Arms that also had an amazing Jamaican food "shed" attached to it that did brilliant food. + Square & Compass, Worth Matravers ...

Stu, Scotts Farm is massive so you wont (shouldn't ) have a problem finding space.

Not been yet but going to Hillend Camping Park (http://hillendcamping.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) nr Rhossili - big huge space. Right on the beach is often in the top beaches in the world!

yes it's v annoying they don't take advance bookings, really need to get there before mid afternoon on a friday to secure a spot for the wknd. There is Scotts Farm that is about 1 mile round the corner that has tons of space, not sure it takes advance bookings but it's fine. It's a bit further to wa...
