Re: small water leak, but from where!?
If you get a super bright torch and get into the engine bay and under the van ( front/ rear) you’ll see if there’s any blue/ pink/ white crystallisation where there’s been any leaking /spraying. David. I'll give this a go also, I've been under quite a few times, but once or twice more won't hurt. c...

Re: small water leak, but from where!?
Hi Maxstu, it's a 1985, I have changed the pipe to the expansion tank, I've changed the intermediate pipe between the long plastic pipes to the radiator and a number of rusty looking clips. As for bleeding I have bled the van so so many times, with it raised in different directions, with caps off an...

small water leak, but from where!?
Hi all, I'm hoping someone might be able to help me find a specialist in water systems on the T25 DG 1.9 I seem to lose about half a litre of water on a 50 ish mile trip, I changed a couple of suspect hoses and some jubilee clips, and I've had a pressure test, but nothing showed up on the test and I...

Re: Heat exchanger to air filter?
Thats the hot air feed, heat from the outside of the exhaust manifold is directed up the tube into the air intake, this helps with running on cold days, but to be honest I dont think they do too much mines rotted away and needs to be replaced but runs just fine and if dirt gets in it shouldn't matte...

Re: Finding a leak
Had a pressure test today and they don't see any leaks, sounds good but I still have an issue so confused, maybe its only under pressure at full heat, something that only gives at full heat and pressure on expansion. Any ideas peeps! Heading from Wales back to London very soon Sent from my BKL-L09 u...

Re: Finding a leak
Thanks for your reply I've bought a new header tank cap last week just in case there was an issue with that but no change, although this one is blue and the last was black but I was informed they are the same. My expansion tank doesn't have much in it at all, and in the last 11yrs that I've had the ...

Finding a leak
Hi all, I've got a 1.9 DG with a slight leak, i'll fill in the details, back in December in France the waterpump/alternator belt went, when I was replacing it I noticed the bearing on the waterpump was rough so decided to change both the pump and belt, all was good, but about half way back across Fr...

I’ve an MOT due in May, but I know of a few issues with rust and would...

Re: Suspention problem in Portugal
I´ve had a look and can´t see anything adrift, the noise is from the front/Left and it´s when I go over bumps, the sound is like something has seized and is moving slightly, I have tried to feel around for the vibration, but my partner isn´t really strong enough to shake the van lol I have had new w...

Suspention problem in Portugal
Have a T3 Caravelle and traveling in Portugal, we have a strange increasing creaking noise from the left hand side, had the suspention bushes replaced before leaving England, think it sounds (and feels) like its coming from there, do I need to worry? do I need to panic? has anyone had any similar so...
