Re: Heater Issues
Afternoon All, I have had a look at the value as suggested by silver bullet. The cable is connected and the screw is tight. So I decided to go look inside the control panel. NOW it does look like the previous owner had been in here as the control panel facia came off a little too easily, missing sev...

Engine Mounting Carrier - Anyone got one for sale?
Hi All, Looking for a good condition engine mounting carrier. I got new rubbers coming but after removing the steel carrier bar, that they bolt onto, found out it is in a very bad way especially where it attaches to the chassis. So before I go and start to fabricate myself a new on I was wondering i...

Re: Anyone have a List of Oils & Lubs for Syncros?
Forgot to mention something in my last post!
Just an idea
but.... perhaps on the Syncro wiki page there could be put up a recommended lubricants and quantities listing. This could also included a list of manufacturers and the oils they supply.

Just an idea

Re: Anyone have a List of Oils & Lubs for Syncros?
I ran the issue of diff oils past my oil supplier (Esso/Mobil) locally, giving him all the info you guys had posted. He then spoke with a lubricants expert within the company and he replied as follows: Your customer is correct in mentioning that if a GL5 is used when a GL4 is specified there is a da...

Re: Removal of Rear Drive Shafts - Any Tips?
Yep I'm with paddy on this one. I just tapped the wheel shaft using a copper hammer and it moved very easily. I had sprayed it liberally with WD40 prior to getting the hammer out. When putting it back I tapped the end of the drive shaft until the thread was through enough to use the nut to pull it on.

Anyone have a List of Oils & Lubs for Syncros?
Hi All,
Does anyone have a list of recommended oils, lubricants & capacities to be used for the Syncro? I've heard it said that the oil for the front & rear diff's is very specific. Is this correct.?
Please help before I stick in the wrong stuff and blow them to bits!
