Just on the solid brake pipe issue, at the point where the solid pipe meets the brake caliper there us a 11mm union (think it was 11mm on mine) any way after i clamped the rubber brake pipe i undone this union after removing the two main bolts the caliper its free to be taken off this means you dont...

I just changes my o/s wheel bearing tonight, Like your self i had no idea what to expect, but i got stuck in and job was done in about 2 hours, (had a brew mid way through) i did not need to remove ball joints or anything other than the calaper, wish i did step by step pic's now.

Hi i have a 1.6TD on a run 440mile run back from Scotland i worked out i was getting around 34mpg sitting around the 65mph, Also drove about with a 125cc scooter on the back made no diffrence to the power, Over 65mph it will use more fuel but norm save that for overtaking.

my door trims are in excellent condition but the door cards have been wet at some time,is it possible to get the trims off the old cards without butchering them and fit them back onto new doorcards,or maybe cut the damaged bottoms off and maybe graft new bottoms on somehow? would prob say reaplace ...

Thanks for your tip about the foam was thinking of doing something along the same lines, Well i cut out the new card on 9mm ply just as i thought to thick could not get the poppers through so i thined it out to 6mm, Poppers fitted offerd up to door all lined up poppers and door pull spot on but stil...

So far so good ive stapled the old card to the new board this stops it moving about allows to get all the holes marked without it slipping going to cut it out in the morning, Then do a fit before re-fitting the old cover (carpet), But thinking of changing to real fake leather, but that would mean ch...

Just a quick update, yep my van was missing some parts... after a few weeks of coolent problems i gave up and handed it to the pro's THE TOP UP BOTTLE WAS MISSING witch ment it was drawing in air when it was needing water, that fixed found i was still getting air locks, leak behind the water pump. o...

I Just had a look at the weight of the scooter we took with us, It was a piaggio liberty 125 dry weight 99.0 kg (218.3 pounds) The type of rack i use bolts onto to where you would bolt the toe bar onto, ive seen other ones that clip onto the toe bar (know thay dont hold as much weight) I can only go...
