Hi, please can anyone help :?: i have recently had some brake work done to my transporter 1.9dg petrol 1990. new rear brake drums as one was distorted( break shoes ok) new front pads ( did not replace the disks ) since this work i have a pulsating break pedal , not all time though and the van stops ...

i will keep an eye on the leak and if it gets any worse i will sort it but like toomanytoys suggests i may live with it.

Thanks for your response. oil is deffo 15/40 and oil filter is not leaking. the oil is coming from the oil pressure relief spring thingy that you mentioned although the leak is small. do you think it is curable? can this oil pressure relief spring be tightnend up or should i live with it cheers Big ...

I think i have eventually found and cured my squeak come metal rub come metal grind clonking noise. something that Camper had recently mentioned about the wheel bearings not being adjustable and that the castle nut should be very very tight. this got me thinking , anyway i decided to see if i could ...

Hi Covkid, my van has just passed MOT so i would have thought a bearing issue would have been picked up? i have looked at the play in the OSR bearing and it appears that there is very little play side to side also this was adjusted by the first garage that i visited with this problem and there is no...

Hi CovKid, I really feel for you as i know exactly what you are going through, I have the same sort of problem a noise coming from what appears to be the driverside rear wheel area. my noise is intermitant from a squeak to full on metal rubbing and clonking. i have had my t25 in to a garage 6 times ...

The noise is intermitant with and without braking on slow down, no service done around this area.

T25 metal/squeeky noise
Hi, My van (1.9 dg petrol, leisure drive high top conv) has developed this rather worrying intermitant noise and this starts has a squeak and gets much louder into a metal rub sound enhanced when slowing down,it appears to come from the offside rear wheel area i think and this was scary driving back...
