Washer Woes
Hi Guys MOT due and washer not working, Had a look at it and had someone operate the switch while I held pump motor in hand. I can feel a clicking going on inside and it starts to get very warm so this suggests power is getting to it. Do you think the pump is dead? Shall I swap it for a new one? Any...

Re: Engine mounts on Aircooled 2ltr
Hi All
Engine mounts done, bigger job than I expected with all the rusty snapping tinware etc.
Did fan belt too and replaced heat exchangers, just need some tinware from somewhere to go under heat exchangers as old ones rusted out, any one know where
I can get some for Aircooled 2ltr?
Cheers J

Fuel issue
Hi All Guess this is the common problem I am guilty of, not starting my bus regularly over the winter. Tried to get my Air cooled CU engine running, turns over and have a good spark, fuel is the problem. I have changed the filter by the tank, (is there another anywhere) but not getting fuel into car...

Re: t25 fuel smell !
Glad you got it fixed, I spent today replacing scarily rotten rubber breather pipes on top of the tank and under expansion tanks. I had an incident where the fuel started pissin out big time when I filled the tank right up, which led me to investigate the leak. Really corroded old rubber pipes with ...

Hi guys
I have a air cooled westy and need to replace the engine mounts.
Can this be done without taking engine out?
Can any one help with a procedure and let me know any pit falls to avoid.
Cheers Jay

Re: Upper Ball Joints both sides
Good news.
So I do not need to remove anything else but the wheels to get at the ball joints then?
I thought maybe I had to take a lot of other parts off too.
When I fit the replacements do they just tighten into place or do I need to press them in?
Thanks for you advice.

Upper Ball Joints both sides
:D Hi Guys I was off to get the tracking done on my T25 Aircooled Westy, but I noticed that both upper ball joints are shot. So I need to get these changed before the tracking is done. Can any one tell me the procedure and tools I will need? Is this an easy job or would I be better getting a garage ...
