1981, do you think the problem is the gearbox? Wouldn't have a clue how to change it!

Hello, I have a 1.6 four speed gearbox (1.6 NA diesel engine), it jumps out of 2nd have to physically hold in, also can't find 3rd from 4th and 1st from 2nd. to find 3rd from 4th I have to go into 2nd (clutch kept dipped) then into 3rd, and to find 1st from 2nd I put the gears into neutral dip clutc...

Try fablon in B&Q, prob find it in other DIY shops as well.

Another question ref windows/ seals, are the seals the same for glass as perspex double glased windows?

perspex is warped only in one area, yeah all the windows look like they are double glased(except windscreen and cab sides) they are all in very poor condition though, back window has cracks in it as well. Presume it is a westy as 'Joker' is written on the side, interior very poor as well, hoping to ...

Hi, all the window seals are shot in my van, also noticed that the window perspex is warped, esp on back window, would like to change for glass if possible, anyone know of a company that sells the glass? I'm South Wales based if anyone knows of a local company.

Hi, just bought a 82 joker, 1600 D, really pleased, no structural or mechanical problems, interior needs some TLC and the appliances need a overhaul. There are a few rust spots under some of the windows, how easy is it to remove these windows to work on the rust and replace the windows with the seal...
