Exhaust silencer
Time to replace the silencer on my early 19DG. On looking at the nuts that need to be removed they look like rusted scabs, if there to far gone for a socket whats the best way to remove them. Thanks.

Hi All, I have just purchased a used early DG exhaust silencer but four of the studs are missing. Can anyone tell me where to get some more. Any tips on getting the old silencer off will be appreciated. Thanks

Hi all, my work mate has a 1992 2.1 german import T25. His engine will start fine and after a short time theres no power, puts foot on accelerator but will only go to 1500rpm, take foot off and engine cuts out. Hi all posting on behalf of a mate. Hes just checked his 2.1 to find it frozen solid water pump solid and ice pop sticking out of the header tank. Question is what sort of damage could it have done and what to try next.

Earley caliper, but just given it a good clean and WD40 seems to have cured it fingers crossed. Thanks for all of your replies.

Evening all, Just been out in the van to find the drivers side front brake is binding when hot. Any tips on a cure without a complete caliper strip or replace. Thanks in advance.

Hi all just had my first long run since converting to LPG. Vans a 19DG with a 49ltr tank at the front. Gauge has 3 green lights ,last light flashes for about 40 miles then runs out. I put in 30ltrs and got 104 miles combined driving before it ran out again. Seems a bit low to me 16mpg. Is there any ...

I've been LPG'd
Got the van back today and running well sweet on gas seems smoother and no noticable lose in power. Looking forward to saving some fuel costs. Instaled by Arun autogas in Littlehampton, very tidy job,tank under front and filler on passanger wheel arch.

Afternoon all, Ive got a lot of back and forth movement on my steering wheel. Top and bottom are tight seems to be the column has play, are there any bushes on the column its self. Checked Haynes but no mention of bushes or how they could be changed. Thanks in advance.
