Re: adding a turbo to aef conversion?
Whoever did the conversion used the Bosch pump, I always thought it was a Lucas until I did the timing belt.

adding a turbo to aef conversion?
Has anyone done this? Had an aef in my van for years and would just like an extra push up hills and overtaking. would the jx mainifold and turbo setup work on this setup? I know i will need to tap oil feed and return. will it actually fit?

Re: Eberspacher westfalia d2L
Ok I’m pretty sure it’s the thermostat controller inside! My replacement is part number 251597801100 and the original is 251597801200. The original turns the ever on but not the pump, where as the replacement sends 12v instantly.

Re: Eberspacher westfalia d2L
Yeah will do, I can’t think what else it could be. Am I right in thinking the pump does nothing for at least 30 seconds then kicks in

Re: Eberspacher westfalia d2L
Took the heater box under the van to bits, circuit board looks as good as new. The pump wiring only passes through the heater it is not connected anywhere in there. I’ve had a look at the wiring diagram to see what else could cause a short, I can’t see it!

Re: Eberspacher westfalia d3l
After changing the ecu I would look at the pump connecting wiring for a short (possibly to live) - there should be no way that a straight 12v could reach the pump especially after changing the ecu. I have 12v the moment I click the switch to heating, pump gets really hot as it’s energised constantl...

Re: Eberspacher pump not clicking
Nope scrub above! Got it past that as fan speed rises and normally the pump would start ticking, but it’s still not!

Re: Eberspacher pump not clicking
Am I right in thinking the pump signal won’t happen until the startup checks are completed? Maybe it’s not getting through them so it stops before pump comes on?

Eberspacher pump not clicking
Hi all out this prob on the camper board but thought I’d try my luck here! D2L eber, will not start up. I have changed thermostat controller, Ecu and pump! When I turn it on I get an initial click on the pump then it does nothing. Taking a voltage measurement it is constant 12v no pulse like it is m...

Re: Eberspacher westfalia d3l
Yes original wiring, green and green and white. It has always worked all of a sudden it won’t! If I take off one connection and tap like you say the pump pulses so the pump is ok? Can’t work out what is going on
