2.1 DJ Low Speed Hunting
I've got an annoying problem that seems to have got worse over the last month or so. The van's hunting on very slight throttle at crawling pace. Once it starts doing it, I can take my foot off the accelerator and it will continue and actually get worse to the stage the van's kangarooing like a good ...

2.1 Injection Exhaust Required
The exhaust backbox on my van has finally split from the main pipe. I'm interested in getting a bit more performance from the van and now may be a perfect time to do something about it. What are peoples recommendations for a performance system ? I really only want to change the backbox for a start b...

Portable TV Aerial
I need a decent portable TV aerial, nothing too large and don't really want to start drilling and screwing things to the van. What do people recommend ?
Thanks

Re: Water Tank Pump
All sorted, pump just needed priming. Fortunately the van came with a hand held bellows pump. Held this over the sink tap whilst pressing the pump switch and within 20 seconds, water was flowing. All ready for the first weekend away now.
Thanks for the suggestions.

Re: Water Tank Pump
No pump is an inline under the rear seats/bed. I'll try giving it a prime but if not I'll replace it.

Water Tank Pump
The water tank pump has packed up on my van, well it spins but there's no suction or output. So I was wondering if anyone has fitted a 12V fuel pump as a replacement ?
Any thoughts ?
Thanks

Re: The inside of my van is bloody freezing !!
Having bled the radiator and only got a small amount of air out, the van was still fookin freezing and not getting much above the bottom of the temp gauge, so today I decided to pop a new thermostat in. What a difference, now gauge gets upto temperature within a mile or so and the heater actually de...

Yes, I should've read the Wiki first, and I'd have found that out. What sort of prices do they go for ?

16in Steel Wheels
I'm thinking of fitting some larger wheels to my van but rather than alloys, I'm thinking of going for some steels, either 15 or preferably 16in. Has anyone done this ? and if they have, what was the donor vehicle the wheels came off. I know T4's have 15in and would be a direct replacement. Any idea...

Re: The inside of my van is bloody freezing !!
Could be an airlock me thinks. I had van tuned and serviced at beginning of November including changing coolant. I'm wondering now, if they knew how to bleed the system properly. I've checked to see if thermostat is opening and it does seem OK. Will have a go at bleeding system at weekend. Thanks fo...

The inside of my van is bloody freezing !!
Is it the norm for an 2.1 wasserbox to struggle to get upto a normal operating temperature during this cold spell ? I drive 25 miles to work down an A road, so there's no stopping for traffic. If I travel through the town, it will get up to about quarter hot on the gauge. I covered the lower part of...

Re: T25 Multivan 2.1 injection ss engine fault
Having the same problem matey. Seems to be worse when damp. Changed plug leads and dizzy cap today, gonna see how things are from now. My Bosch specialist said that the idle control valve could do with changing and possibly something wrong with the airflow meter. I've disconnected the idle speed sta...

Re: Misfire on part throttle
Thanks for replies so far. Temp sensor changed last month when engine tuned. New fuel filter also. Changed the fuel filler neck rubber a couple of months ago aswell, so doubt whether there's water in the fuel and if there is, I would've thought symptoms would be there all the time. I'll go through t...

Yes, new leads were first on the list of things to replace, they look as though they've been on for years.

Misfire on part throttle
Problem with my van,a 2.1 injection. It's worse when cold and virtually non existant when upto temperature. Under part throttle it's misfiring, which can usually (but not always) be cleared by flooring the throttle. It also occurs when under load, again when cold. Strangley it doesn't do it everytim...
