"TREVOR`S" got new clothes
Ive been meaning to post this update for a while now, this is my (1981) 2000 litre Aircooled viking camper called "TREVOR". He was riddled with the big "c" when i bought him, but i was blinded by his facilities and potential, and i knew a guy who was very good at bodywork. Ive re...

I tried twice and they never rang back, they do make to order so looking at a couple of months wait at least. I think im guna go down the old diy jobby myse...

Re: Do I, don't I? Any advice welcome
My van has done 146k on a (1981) 2 litre Aircooled engine, and it runs as sweet as a nut. I would definately stick with the advice regarding body condition, I didnt, and bought a lump of rust. Fortunately I knew a guy who was a wizard with bodywork, i put at least £600 of new metal and a respray and...

Viking roof external insulator
Hi, is there anyone out there who has or know`s where to purchase an insulator for the outside of our viking canvas roof. Im guna try proud to pop, but wondered if there are any others out there? Our last jaunt to whitby unearthed leaks on every seam on original 29 year old canvas roof, considering ...

Hi, does anyone know of a decent auto-electrician in and around Rotherham, Sheffield, Barnsley area? I want to put a propex heater, cigarette lighter, stereo and split charger in my 1981 camper. Ideally i want to get them all sorted for BIG BANG next month, im taking my four month old to his first v...

Re: Rat look T25?
Ive been pondering this notion for sometime, when i bought my van 18months ago it was honest and rusty, no i mean plain rusty. ha ha. Ive replaced all four arches, steps sliding door sill, sliding door, boot lid, and passenger door, and that strip above front bumper (they all seem to go there). I ha...

Re: Uprated suspension
Not sure of the exact dimensions and offset, but ive been buying and trying to get some nice alloys on me van for what seems an age. They went on perfectly with plenty clearance from hub and enough thread for nut/bolt.
Appreciate the concern dude, i will put pics on, it looks sweet.

Uprated suspension
A week ago me and a very capable mechanic matey fitted bilstien sport shock absorbers, avo 50mm lowering springs and powerflex bushes to my wallowy old hector, 1981 Aircooled camper. What a transformation it has made, the van handles better than most cars, can be chucked into corners with hardly any...

Re: Performance after converting to LPG
What`s the average LPG conversion cost? Im running a 2.0 litre Aircooled at mo and he likes the taste of petrol, admittedly issue with carb at moment (see wanted post).
