100% agree with you guys, my penitrating oil of choice would be Flit, but you cant seem to find it these days, The old CEGB used it by the barrelfull

custom exhaust for Aircooled CU engine
hi does anyone know how/where to get a custom exhaust for my 82 Aircooled CU, i never use it in winter only for keeping it running 5 mile trips weekly.

As i check with my daughters L200 battery as a jump start
, it just went Click
, also had a multimeter on itm went from 12.8 to 11.4v on key turn. I would have expected the battery to drop to below 10-9v if the starter moter was trying to turn.

I have a horrible suspision that this could also be my issue, the Van was low on fuel and park on a slight decline...... and the fuel line runs out of the rear of the tank.................
I have got a new filter and will bung a gallon in tomorrow and give it a go...

bloody hell mate must be catching, my 82 2.0l Aircooled did the identical thing this morming. struggled to start, i used a booster starter battery to get it going, it then ran lumpy as hell for 10mins maybe a bit less, then it really started to struggle even reving it did not help, then it died and ...
