Re: Engine Mounts question
Thanks, the work was done a few months ago and we have taken it back to the garage to no avail.
We will look at the pictures in earlier post once we have got over Covid!

Re: Engine Mounts question
Thanks Aidan, Its a 2 litre petrol RHD. We had engine mounts outer and inner and gear box mount replaced. They weren't repurposed from another vehicle. We were told that all the mounts were "pulled" hence they needed replacing. We don't know what material they were made from. Does this ma...

T25 mechanic in Yeovil area
Morning,
We recently moved to Somerset and wondered if anyone could recommend any garages/mechanics with a real interest in T25's that we could contact to get some work done? We live about 30 minutes from Yeovil.
Thanks for any suggestions.
Ronnie and Chris

Engine Mounts question
Morning!
We recently had the engine mounts replaced on our 1991 T25 Komet. Since the work was done the engine noise has been much louder inside the van when driving. Does anyone know why this might be?
Thanks for any suggestions and Meyy Xmas.

T25 mechanic Salisbury/Shaftesbury area - can you help?
Does anyone know of a mechanic who regularly works on T25’s in the Salisbury/Shaftesbury area of Wiltshire? I have a problem with the rear brakes on my 1991 2 litre petrol hightop van. There is an awful hot burning smell after only a few miles. Have taken it to two local garages and paid for work bu...

Alarm Systems
Can anyone recommend an alarm system for a T25 hightop 1989 that doesn't cost the earth and doesn't make your life a misery (and your neighbours lives a misery) by going off all the time?? Is there anywhere in Wiltshire/Dorset/Hampshire that would fit it as we are not very techy either. Cheers Chumb...

Re: Interior cupboard doors for Autohomes conversion?
We peeled off the laminate and sanded back and varnished ours. They look quite good although I needed acupuncture for my inflamed elbow after all the sanding!

Re: Interior cupboard doors for Autohomes conversion?
Autohomes went bust some years ago but the guys that used to work for them set up on their own and still have various bits and pieces and helped us get things we thought would be impossible to get.(We have Autohomes Komet) They are based near Wimborne in Dorset. Autovan services ltd (Mike or Keith) ...

Hello Wev'e got a 2 litre petrol T25 1989 Hit top. The main battery under the drivers seat has finally died and needs replacing. We just can't seem to get it out of the housing box under the seat. We've got the drivers seat as far forward as it can go and still no joy. The seat is a swivel one and w...
