Is it possible to swap a later 1.9dg waterboxer linked to a 5 speed box, for an early 1.9dg waterboxer currently linked to a 4 speed box. Or would I need to change to a 4 speed box aswell?

I have just fitted a manual choke to my 1.9dg and I am trying to source a choke cable long enough (about 14ft allowing to trim) any ideas??

Hi to anybody out there, I am new to the club as I have just purchased a 1987 1.9 watercooled camper(with as I am begining to understand all the usual probs!) managed to get dash out and free heater blower, but does anybody know how to get into the housing to change the fan/motor
