Well still no joy!!!! :( :( :( Rechecked the timing and have set as i believe is right but obviously isn't as its running a litle bit better but not quite there, noisy as hell and real smokey. I think I'm gonna have to take it somewhere to someone who can sort it. Any ideas where I can go please??? ...

Right been back at it tis mornin and checked fuel is getting to the injectors and ensuring no air in them - all ok. in the process of checking the timing again now, got it all exposed to check ie cylinder head cover off all covers over timing belt off ...

so if I align the flywheel to its tdc mark on bellhousing, lock off cam shaft etc. Is it ok then to slacken t belt tensioner and cam shaft pulley and move the fuel pump pulley until the marks on it align up if not already aligned? thanks Caveman I'll have another go 2mw using your advice. 2mw's anot...
