Thanks for that bit of information when I wanted that exact piece of rubber hosing for one of my customers I was told it was no longer available for love or money from my local VAG. It cost me a fortune in trying to find a rubber hose that would contort to that figuration in the end we found another...

The noise changing when holding onto your gearstick maybe that you are deflecting the soundwaves differently. Have you had your gearbox oil level checked. The other sound can be wheel bearings they change sounds due to camber of the road and corners. It will alternate on corners if it is just one.

This sounds like cv joints. There is a quick cure for this noise. Do not take this diagnosis the wrong way. The grease around the balls has gone hard and allows them to knock together we find just pulling the rubber back and squirting a bit of oil usually liquidfys the grease to stop the noise. I ca...

I got a brand new plastic pipe part no 251121438 which is for a manual T25 from vag. I had a call from someone that wanted the one with a A on the end for an automatic but was unable to help and VAG were not able to source one.

Engine water pipes?

Is anybody making some of the waterpipes found in the engine bay area. I wanted a pipe for a customers vehicle contacted VAG and found out that they were discontinued in 1990. Luckily we had one on a vehicle we were breaking but as the vehicles are getting more popular this source is going to dry up...
