unless its a top spec "bus" or "caravelle" based van, it wont have intermittent at that age, which is maybe why its not working....... Aaah - that might explain that one then! however, you mention rear wash wipe, which suggests its either a top spec or has been retro fitt...

Windscreen wiper problem

Haven't been out in the bus for a week or so but took him out today and he seems to have developed a windscreen wiper problem - back doesn't work at all (but I'm not sure if it did anyway as I haven't had him long and have had no cause to use 'em on the few occasions I've taken him out). There seems...

Surfers Paradise at Croyde in't bad - basic and cheap :) Within very easy reach of the beach (which has lifeguards). I would have thought sites around Mortehoe wouldn't necessarily be the best choice if you've got kids as you've got a bit of a trek on yer 'ands if you want to get to the water's edge...

I've got an early bay as well as the t25 - they both have their own merits and I'm such a short a*** I can stand up straight in both - high top or not ;)

Welcome btw :)

As a past MOT tester myself I cannot see any problems with a quality repair as in the pic. A word of caution though.....the repair needs to be continously welded to a high standard, pigeon "pooh" or any weld that hasn't properly flowed is unexceptable. And, as far as MOT testers are conce...

Whilst I'm not bad at welding me'sen, my Mr Other Half is the dog's nads ASME 9 coded and head-hunted from one end of the country to the other. Mig is better - particularly for continuous runs and good, even penetration. Less warping of the metal too. A good mask does help but also consider the crap...

I definitely wouldn't go for a pop-top and controversially not necessarily a t25 either. Our first, and main bus, is an early bay (1971 tintop) restored from a pile of dog doo darn sarf. The drive from Leeds down to deepest, darkest Surrey took an entire day and was not done in jest believe me!!! I'...

Like the badge on the buddy seat.

Here's what the good Mr Other Half did with with mine off my early bay.

To tart Vince's furniture up I removed the Hockney effect Fablon - it was giving me a right royal headache. I then used a similar to the original wood effect Fablon to cover up one of the doors that had lost some of its ...

Fablon is good but make sure you get the bigger width rolls - other wise you'll have unsightly seams. There's also some paint that you can get for contiboard that a friend of ours used and sang its praises. Can't remember the name of it but'll I'll give him a shout tomorrow and tell ya later :)

Dead inspired now :) I'm currently tarting up my Autosleeper VHT and originally wanted a re-spray - however I'm happy with the solution I've come up with now so no worries there. However, I've also got a 71 bay (lowlighter) which has been undergoing major surgery for some time now but will hopefully...

I just made a full new set for my Autosleeper for the princely sum of £4.35 - fully lined, matching tie-backs - the works. Just used the manky originals for a pattern and re-cycled the header tape. Dead easy to do  [IMG:768:1024]http://i188.photobucket.com/albums/z204/bigbluebullybus/curtain1....

We've tried unplugging a newly fitted stereo (only new addition we can think of and it also sounds archaically cool). Fridge definitely doesn't work from leisure battery, lights do, water pump seems fine, battery charge comes up fine (then it would from a brand new battery!!!) etc... Sounds like a r...

Love the fact that at the present moment in time it makes our early bay look look a dream. Bit of a prima donna is our Vince the Vanagoon. Not sold on T25's at the moment and our sons of 18 and 20 would frankly not go near. Bit more comfortable but technically unreliable - maybe it's cause we're aut...

What is draining my battery?

Fairly new to the forum and T25's and a girlie too - but please don't let that colour your judgement as I'm a reet tekkie!. But what in the buggeration is draining my battery????? My other half bought Vince the Vanagoon just over a month ago as a lovely present. I love him to bits but he's a right S...
