Re: Disklok and standard T25/T3 steering wheel
I bought one for my old van and it wouldn't fit at all on the standard steering wheel. Took it back in the end.

Re: GSF ignition lead nightmare
I know this doesn't help, but I had the same with Andrew page. Leads too short yet supposed to fit the 1.9dg I then had. I then got some more from gsf which just fit if you stretched them to within an inch of their life. drove me nuts as everywhere i went they were the same. I had some made up in th...

Re: Advice required (poll)
Definitely not the lower one. I'm leaning towards the middle as the van looks more symmetrical as has been said BUT I quite like the upper but not so far over. Could you do a pic with the upper more central to see how that looks. If not then middle for me.

Re: Sibir 3 way fridge operation
Dan, apologies I thought the instructions were In the van. I've found them & will post them to you tomorrow. It's a great fridge and if left on full on gas it will freeze stuff inside...) we always used it on gas in the van and left it on all the time although the instructions do say you should ...

Re: non flashy flashers !!!
Try checking the earth crowns attached to the nearside body pillar next to the fuse box. Also check the connections on the wires to the relevant fuse. Mine were a bit corroded and once cleaned the flashers worked. Good luck...)

1.9dg petrol high top gives anywhere between 20 and 26 mpg depending on how/where driven. T4 2.5tdi with stainless straight through exhaust gives 36 to 38mpg driving it like I stole it...)

Re: propex heater
Use my hs2000 off a 7.5kg propane cylinder. It lasts ages and gets v warm in a short time. Underslung tank use sounds v cheap though. I don't think I could leave it on constant as the van gets too warm. A good heater and propex have great customer service.

Re: hazard warning lights...MOT looming
Mine was poor earthing on the earth crowns up near the fusebox. Took em all off and cleaned them up. Working hazards. Job done. The horn on mine was fubarred and the earth on the steering column was bad. New horn £8 I think. Clean earth the cost of some emery. Working horn bonus.
Good luck

Re: 1.9dg temp gauge
Both switches arrived today. Swapped the one in the engine bay and the gauge now reads. It takes an age to get it high enough to bring the fan on. But it did bring the fan on once the needle was just below the red light. Light never came on which I guess is a good thing. Looks like the fan switch is...

Cheers ian
think I'll order both and do them to be on the safe side. Gonna be going away in her a few times before the t4 gets campered up. She'll be my daily til that comes back too, so needs to be right.
Ta again.

Re: 1.9dg temp gauge
Ian, another daft question. How often would you expect the fan to come on. I've only noticed mine come on a handfull of times. Always when queuing in traffic for some time. In general driving I've never noticed it come on. The more I think about it the more it worries me. Lol how easy are they to ch...

Re: 1.9dg temp gauge
Ian, I've done as you suggested and bridgedthe wires. The fan comes on fine at both speeds. Does this mean my sender on the bottom of the radiator is fubared? going to Order necessary replacement of required.
