Hi there i had the same problem with the flexi and managed to cobble something together with a vacuum hose, not sure if this is a useful tip but it worked for me....................

Hi, no idea where to find the code for the gearbox but if you can let ne know i will have a look for you at the weekend, have got to say though with it being a dog leg the change from 1st to 2nd can be interesting at times. Cheers Steve W...........

Had my van with its KY engine for nearly 4 years now, goes nowhere fast but is economical and so far very reliable(touch wood) Usually get between 35 and 40 mpg on a run which is pretty good with a hightop i reckon, also its running a 5 speed gearbox and to be honest its still fairly slow up hills b...

Hi there did you flush the coolant system after the oil cooler change? as i am still finding oil in the water 6 mths after doing mine, are you losing oil? and is the engine running ok and not overheating?.................

Im no expert, but surely being so close to the jacking point this should have had an advisory at least, lets not forget these vans weigh a bloody lot, try and find a tame mechanic to look over it before you buy, remember there are plenty of others just be patient, Good luck Steve W..........

Sounds like a sticky brake caliper to me, coincidently i have just put 2 new calipers on mine today as it had been doing it for quite a while, you may get lucky if you take the caliper off and free it off, it worked on mine for a while.........

Hi, I had the same problem a couple of months ago and it turned out to be the oil cooler(phew) changed it and it has been fine since(touchwood) as for the oil in the water i dipped a sponge and tissues in the filler cap hole and soaked it up using the logic that oil floats on the top of water, not v...

Another top tip undo the filler cap first otherwise you will be knackered if you drain the oil and cant replace it, have fun Steve W.......

Hi Mark, I thought i had a head gasket leak a few weeks ago after finding oil in the water, and somebody advised me too change the oil cooler which solved the problem thankfully, an easy job but when i started it up i thought i was leaking oil from the filter but it turned out to be a water slight w...

Cheers for that everyone, having spent the weekend fabricating(read as bodging it up) all the bits to reach the airvent and changing the oil cooler, the exhaust downpipe decided to gift me with a hole so now i will have to replace that, my van is becoming the equivalent of painting the Forth Bridge ...
