T25 Oven Problems Help Needed

Hi All Since purchasing my Connie (T25 Auto sleeper) about 6 years ago I have not been able to use the oven as it has a leak when the gas bottle is connected even when the gas rings are turned off so we always have to turn off the main gas isolation tap for cooker when connecting gas for the fridge....

Re: Drivers side Outer Sill....

You're not kidding Jim! lol Well... my mechanic mate has given me the verdict....as suspected the rust goes further up! So he's got a panel from Schofield's that would do it all, BUT....here's the thing, I NEED to use the van this weekend so he's gonna have to just do an MOT repair, as to get the wh...

Re: Drivers side Outer Sill....

Cheers Mike and MM, and it's a good job I like the bantering!  Well... all will be revealed tomorrow regarding how far the rot has gone, to be honest my van will probably need a bit (being optimistic again! lol) of work over winter, as it's got seam rot which needs attending to! and with...

Re: Drivers side Outer Sill....

Thanks guys for your 'optimistic' advice! lol :D Until the paint comes off I guess I'm not sure how far up the rot goes! But the MOT tester said the floor was the 'best he'd seen' - which is good news re: the fridge (fingers crossed!) Will let you all know of the damage or lack of! ( I should be so ...

Drivers side Outer Sill....

Hi Guys, My T25 has just failed it's MOT (suprise suprise!), BUT it was only on the drivers side outer sill which needs to be replaced. So I was wondering where I can get a replacement, and what is involved with welding this? Is it going to be an expensive job at the mechanics?? Cheers, Kath :ok

Re: vinyl seat covers!!??!!

Thanks guys,

Well I've just spoke to a guy who said he can do both front seats and the rear seat cushions for £350 - pretty reasonably indeed I'd say - what do you think? He's sent me pics of his previous work, which was mainly for T4 and T5's and it look good. Don't think I'll beat that... :ok

vinyl seat covers!!??!!

Hi Guys, My apologies in advance if this has been covered before ( excuse the pun!) but money is tight, as I'm sure it is for all of us, but we could really do with recovering the front seats in our 1986 T25 Autosleeper Hightop. I wondered if anyone knows where we could get some vinyl covers made up...
