My money's on the play in the wheel bearing. Yep it looks that way (I think) I checked everything within my limited capabilities and can't find anything wrong so if it is the bearing then I don't have the tools to do it. not sure about the noise but the drive shaft should move in and out.............. Cheers Dazzzer1, just wasn't 100% sure sounds like it could just be the drum rubbing on the backplate. Just check all round the drum for clearance, and if it's rubbing bend backplate away gently. Can also happen after...

I am still looking for an alternator adjuster tensioning bracket for a 1984 1.9 DG PETROL engine. All sorted now it was the PCB
Thanks for all the advice on this one folks much appreciated and HUGE thanks to Aidan who not only had a spare PCB but also fitted it and mended the rear of the clockset where it was damaged when I went to collect the PCB, what a guy.

Right then Ive checked and cleaned the earth crowns and took the clockset out to check the PCB and its in a right state looks like someone has already tried a repair using the silver paint stuff and there are some screws missing that hold the PCB in place, the issue with the lights has gone but now ...

Thanks Big Tam I'll check the PCB later Im just getting dragged out to ASDA (oh joy). Hopfully I'll sort it before getting an auto spark out or replacing the whole dash . Im quite persistant (and a bit tight with my cash ) so all advice is most welcome

I seem to have a strange electrical issue with my headlights, When the ignition is on and I switch the side lights or dipped beam on the blue LED full beam light comes on but the lights are dipped if I click the stalk back the full beam comes on and the blue LED goes out also the dash lights do not ...

Hi don't know anything about the Vulcan 240 thing but your fridge will only have one plug for the 240v feed, the 3way fridge runs off Gas/12v/240v Gas obviously comes from your gas tank/botttle, 240v for when your on hook up and the 12v is wired to your alternator via a relay which will run your fri...
