What are the 2 steel mesh bags with small metal balls in them in my petrol tank??? any idea?? zinc anode?? should they be there along with the bits of rust, 2 screws and a 8mm nut???

IDEA!
I used red acrylic fleece that i got from a fabric shop. Use industrial spray glue from homebase. The fabric is slightly strechy and insulating. I lined around the windows and cards, so easey and looks cool (smells like a new bus). They had loads of colours.........£8.99 per kg. Cost me about £65 fo...

SORTED
I worked out how it works........little heating element warms the bi-matalic spring that expands and moves the choke valve over...........wow.......I set it the same as the other carb.........seems to work ok now. Got a bit worried b4 as im off to bwets y coed camping 2moro....... Cheers lads

I have taken the bi-metalic choke apart (twin solex carbs) to get at 2 screws holing it on as it was loose. Go to a motor factors and get the sump plug seal and the correct oil for the engine type (probably 15w40 mineral). I would advise changing the oil filter as well. Next get a large container that will fit under the engine and will hold more than 5ltr of oil!! If you get down and look under the engine...

Overheating?
Before you go green, check your sensor connections are ok. Just sorted a over heating 1.6 diesel, it turned out to be a cracked cylinder head after a week of messing about - flushing the rad, checking sensors, replacing a thermostat and constant bleeding but it kept blowing hoses. after all the fart...
