now this is weird - I replaced the wiring to/from the stat and everything works.

You'd imagine that the thing would either light or not - not get halfway then cut out.

Odd stuff, at least it works now!

Just the usual - propex, 2 burner stove and fridge. I've got a couple of regulators going spare for the butane (and the bottle will be in the can, so I'm assuming the freezing thing shouldn't be an issue)

I'm thinking about swapping my existing 907 gas bottle in the van for a 4.5kg one - obviously they're different regulators, but can anyone think of any other issues (assuming it'll fit)

Funny you should say that - mine went the other day. Have a look at the return spring on the cable towards the engine. That had gone on mine.
