I've been having problems with the 4wd on my syncro. After I pull the central lever the green light's been taking between 5 or 10 mins to switch on. Yesterday its didn't come on at all. Also what is the proper way to switch from 2wd to 4wd? Cheers

Hi there. Last November I bought a red syncro off Russel at Syncronutz. I drove it back through Europe to Greece then put it on a ferry to Cyprus where I live. i followed someone's advice on thesamba.com and filled the hole in with epoxy repair then drilled another hole and thread in it.. works fine now

OK, in keeping with the thread its probably a good idea to ask how to exactly to engage the front lock... I remember being told you need to twist and turn the lever then drive straight until it engages and the light turns on, am i right? i cant remember

I've stupidly managed to pull the front diff lock knob on my syncro a bit too hard and its come right off the lever and the thread's stripped out Any ideas what i could do or where i could get a new one?
