Don't rule out the shocks just coz they're new. I had new ones fitted once on an Astra and they made a knocking noise every time I ran over a pebble. Get the front wheels off and check theres no obvious breakages or wear. We can only guess without looking. Broken shock? hello, has anybody got a diagram or a photo of how the rear brake shoe springs fit ? theres four springs per side. i cant do it. help pls
