Point taken, 1.6td, 1988, live in S W London..
All the fuses seem to be in the front of the vehicle, and none apply to the plugs.

Glow Plug Circuitry
My glowplugs seem to not be wired right.. I changed the gearbox and now no current seems to be passing along the glow plug wire. Plugs work because put a wire across direct from the battery and then she fired up! I can't seem to find a fuse for them, and the wire seems to go straight into one of two...

Re: Captain Seat Armrest Useful Information with Pics
Well done for a great post. Just used it to fix a right hand arm rest. I can confirm that the screw positions are in the same places even though it is the opposite side.
Cheers

Re: clunky, slightly awkward gear changes.
Concerning my 1.6td 1988 van: Does anyone have an exploded diagram from Bentley or similar of the gear selector lever, ball and cup, bushs, boots and bellows that they could e mail or put on the Wiki? I have looked at the wiki which is really good and pretty comprehensive, but I'm getting a little c...

Re: clunky, slightly awkward gear changes.
Thanks for advice everyone.
A mechanic told me it could be clutch drag, but that that would mean the biting point would now hit much sooner, which it doesn't, so going to try a gear box oil change and go from there.

clunky, slightly awkward gear changes.
Hello,
Changing gear in my 1.6td van is becoming a bit clunky and awkward, especially in first 5 - 10 mins of driving. once or twice it hasn't wanted to get in 1st gear.
Does this sound like a lubricant issue, or worse?
Thanks

changing the oil, simple I know but not done it before!
Apologees for my rubbishness, but where is the oil sump on a diesel T25? Need to change the oil now...
Also, how much does a T25 need? I know I can check with the dipstick, but just to get an idea..
Thanks

can't find a leisure battery to fit a T25!
I looking for a decent deep cycle leisure that fits a T25. There doesn't seem to be any that fit the tray under the seat, which can take a battery no more than 180mm high. Anyone found a good battery to fit under the seat? I'm thinking of just using a normal car battery, or maybe a starter battery.

Fuel system leak, DIY job?
I've got a fuel leak somewhere when the tank(s) are filled to capacity, which I think is down to a perished seal on the top of the tank. Can anyone offer any advice about taking the tank out to fix this , other than being very careful with fuel vapour/power tools/ lighting etc? Is it a fairly straig...

Diesel Repair Manuals?
Anyone know where to get a manual for an 1988 Diesel Multivan? Petrol ones seem to be widely available but not the diesel ones. Found a Bentley vanagon one for about 65 quid(?) on amazon America, but nothing else. Have tried the link for E manuals from this site but doesn't seem to load so no luck t...
