Campsites in Dorset anyone?

I found the site dank and dark and immensely over crowded.
The shop was over priced and dealt with my nephew's problem with a disposable BBQ very poorly.
Big disappointment :-(

I disliked Burnbake with a passion tbh.

Inclusion in the cool camping guide can be the death knell for a site IMO.

Campsites in Dorset anyone?

I second the 5 Bells. Had a couple of nights there last year.
There's some nice places around Corfe and Studland - especially if you're c&cc and want small/basic.
I did a fortnight around north Devon and Dorset last summer - didn't pre-book a thing and it was fab!

Restoration/body work specialist in Oxfordshire

Twiggy put me onto a chap in Bicester who is really nice. I took the van to him in November but despite several calls he hasn't got back to me. PRD used a coach works place in Tring. His van looks fantastic. I'm struggling to find someone as well. To the point I'm thinking of moving my van on and bu...

Apps Court isn't really an official site is it? Don't 'we' usually just make an arrangement with the owners? Any reason why it's to be West London? Why not check out Lea Valley area? It's the right side of town for the Olympic stadium at Stratford. I'd avoid trying to get from Apps to Hounslow for t...

Re: travelingchick gearbox problem

All good, the van is back :-)

It was the offside CV and Mike has fixed that one with additional washers, they didn't come in the kit apparently. He has also put washers on the other three as well.

He charged me £50 and I am happy with that.

Result!! They're treating it as an onward relay due to it being late on a bank holiday!!

Should know more later today when Mike's had a chance to look at it.

Finger's x'd for something simple and cheap :-)

Yup, our recovery chap is really friendly and cost saving on fuel is always good :-)
First recovery for a couple of years so can't complain.
