Alternatives to carpet lining?

Hi, I have a Syncro panel van camper conversion and the lining (that I fitted) is coming away. I used the right adhesive but didn't clean away enough of the old glue for it to stick - my own fault. TBH, I never really liked the carpet stuck directly to the metal so I'm asking for advice on alternati...

Re: Water tank placement

I can definitely see the advantage of both. The 15l removable tanks I have are very convenient as I can send the kids to fetch water☺ cheers.

Water tank placement

Hi I'm in the process of refitting my van and am wondering about the the best water tank solution. I currently have two removable plastic tanks with a submersible and no holes cut in the van. I'd like to avoid cutting inlet holes in the van but am thinking that having a fitted tank that you have to ...

Re: Is there a rock and roll bed with headrests, isofix?

I just bought one of these with optional headrests. Very solid.

Eberspacher service

We've recently returned from a few weeks in Orkney and have realised we need to fit the Eberspacher airtronic D2 heater that came untested with my van when I bought it. I don't know if it works or not so I'd like to get it checked out before I fit it. Any recommendations for servicing? Or perhaps th...

Re: Paulchen Bike rack

Thanks . Do you put 4 bikes on - and does it work with a standard wheel carrier?

Paulchen Bike rack

Hi,
I'm thinking of getting the paulchen bike rack. If you have one, have you noticed if it has done any damage to your paint work where it hangs off the tail gate? I have a Fiamma one and it's done a fair bit of damage (now repaired).

Thanks

ISRI and Kab seats

Hi,
Has anyone got newer seats by ISRI or Kab fitted in their vans? If so, how easy was it?

Re: How unsafe is this?

Well... its folded under jacking load so that says a lot about its lack of strength. There is no quick fix, the bottom of the sill end has gone and the vertical stiffener wil be weetabix or fresh air. On the verge of parting company I would say. Repaired the same a couple of years ago. How long did...

How unsafe is this?

So, my van is hopefully going in for a full resto but probably not until September. In the mean time, I have this rather rotten jacking point which I'm pretty sure would fail an MOT(around June). What's the most cost effective way of getting a temp fix for this? It doesn't have to look pretty as it ...

Re: Ingenious ideas???

I built this a couple of years ago (still a work in progress) and it's working out quite well. I use a origo fuel cooker so no gas bottle, the kitchen unit is removable quite quickly. The unit on the right house all batteries, sterling and ctek chargers and top loading fridge at the moment but that'...
