Thanks for that Doug. I am near Matlock, son in law to be is my mechanic so I shall print out and give to him. Could be weekend before he gets chance to have a go at it and this is Easter, but if we get stuck we will take you up on your offer even if its only by mobile phone advice - it is in his ow...

Thanks again camper, I will pass that info on to chap doing the job, might be next weekend now before he gets time but will certainly let you all know how we get on, don't want to be off road now we at last got some sun!!

Thanks Camper, he did turn by hand first, has managed to adjust to some extent but she is still blacksmoking and loosing power, not as bad, but still not quite right. Can't see where notches are to line up properly (I am the middle 'man' by the way, young chap doing this job for me is not mechanic, ...

Thanks for that Aidan, can you tell me where do the notches on cam pulley and fuel pully point to in relation to the flywheel marks please - just fitted new cam belt
