Re: rebuild won't start!
Mentioned this a few times but try a capful of petrol down the carb throat and see if that encourages it. It could simply be that fuel line is dry and needs time to come through. A few goes of that often sorts things out. Done this a few times if your engine fires you know it just not sucking fuel ...

Re: Engine code
The engine code should be at the start of engine number if i'm right in thinking you have a 2.1 it is stamped on the engine just above the crank pully it should be DJ or MV. Hope this helps.Dave

Hi there lovely looking van
i was wondering if a small caravan cover might fit the bill. As regards servicing i would think once a year would be ok but its all dependent on the milage you do.

Re: wasserboxer camper, should i leave alone?
No antifreeze dosent look good :( these engines need the correct antifreeze G12 or G13to avoid the head studs corroding .But i have to agree with the last post better to have a good body. engines easy to change you can spend days just sorting rusty window appertures and run away with a lot of money....

I would replace pistons as well.Looking at the cylinder head it appears to have a crack between the valves .
