Advice on miserable fuel consumption
I've got a 4 speed rising roof 1985 Reimo converted 1.9 petrol running on gas that has about 30,000 miles on the current engine. The best fuel consumption I'm getting on long motorway runs is around 15mpg cruising at around 55-60mph. On top of that it does feel somewhat underpowered. On the flat I c...

Re: Fresh water pipe to tank
Thanks for everyone's help. In the end I managed to get a length of 40mm hose from a koi carp and outside water feature shop near Coal Aston. Helpful chap, sold me 3.5 meters for the price of 2m and had a dog the size of a grizzly bear. Anyway, tomorrow I'm going to spend most of the day under the v...

Re: Fresh water pipe to tank
Thanks for the help, guys.
Gilliamfishing - what did you ask for in order to get the tubing? Do you know what purpose it servers in the aquarium world?
If I can't get anything sourced by next weekend I'll be back on here begging.
Cheers!

Re: Fresh water pipe to tank
Cheers Mark.
Yeah, the stuff they had at towsure was about 1/2 to 2/3 the gauge I need for the T25.
PS. Was admiring the LT when I drove past the other day... Very nice...

Fresh water pipe to tank
I'm currently working through a big(ish) list of things to get sorted prior to a crimbo jaunt around Devon. I noticed that when I filled the under-van water tank from the filler near the passenger door, the pipe leaked a bit. Closer inspection revealed the pipe leaked a lot. Even closer inspection r...

Newly converted and running lovely
Just a quick note to say big thanks to Steve at Gasure for doing an excellent job on the conversion. The van is running better than ever and the release of endorphins having filled up with 50l of fuel and had change from £30 was enough to weaken the knees. Next stop France... PS, I've found about 3 ...

LPG and interior heating
Hello everyone. My beloved van is booked in to be converted to LPG with Steve at Gasure next month. I'm having a 70l tank fitted under the rear seats. The thought occurred to me that I might want to fit a heater (Propex or Edel, I've not decided) before the winter climbing seasons starts in Scotland...
I don't wish to hijack the thread but I've got a relevant-ish question and posting it here will save on electrons. Or something... Anyway, I've been thinking of getting an eber or similar to stave off the hypothermia for the winter season in Scotland. The issue is that I'm going to have a 70l LPG ta...

Re: Windscreen washer nozzle
Connect 12v air compressor via air-bed adaptor to flexible washer pipe & run until crud is propelled from pipe! The o/s pipe on my van was full of crud (ie. 4 inches of mud in pipe) & took a couple of minutes to clear. :) OK, so today didn't go so well. I couldn't easily get behind the wash...

Windscreen washer nozzle
Hello all. Need a bit of advice how to tackle only one windscreen washer nozzle firing fluid on to the screen. The left hand (passenger) side launches a good thick spray but the right side doesn't give anything. I've tried pouring some hot water onto the nozzle to remove any blockage but that didn't...
