What's this?
Hi just been having a look in the engine to find any tell tale signs of what might be wrong. I have a 1.6TD, 1989 and it's overheating and the cooling system is pressuring, hoping it's not the head as it was done little over two years ago, but the water pump and thermostat have been replaced and the...

BBS Alloys (Size, Spacers and style)
Hi all, I have a white 1990 VW T25 on 50mm avo dropped springs. Looking into getting some BBS alloys, black with a chrome rim. Just wondering what I'd need apart from a large wallet to get them onto the van. What kind of spacing/adapters should I go for and where from? As well as this, size matters....

Oil Burning - Quickly...
Hi, I have a 1.6TD 1990... it seem's to be increasingly burning more oil, recently had the head gasket done and it's since then it's been going through it. Filled it up with oil to the second dot on the dipstick, took it down to falmouth and back (1000 miles), averaged around 60-65mph so not the eas...
Re: respray
I've been photoshopping a photo of mine to see what would be a good colour and lime green or pearl blue look really eye caching, or a pearl white with a stripe down the side.

Oil in the cooling system
Hello all, I have a 1991 vw t25 1.6 td, it has done roughly 90.000 miles. On a trip to the lakes around 4 months ago it constantly overheated when on the motorway, usually on an uphill section. After we got back the engine started tappeting a minor amount when under load and kicking out a lot of smo...

Re: Convert a pop top to a tin top?
Hi again, the roof is now gone, leaving a 42" by 50" (roughly). Does anyone know of a smaller less intrusive pop top just to give a little more headroom over that hole???? Thanks again for all the help and information, Liam

Re: Pop top to metal roof skin
Well the original black pop top was ruined, it was leaking and when we went to close it one day all of the solid side panels fell away as all the mountings were all rotten, so we decided as, seen as though a proper replacement would be £2000 to £3000 we would have a go at making our own, we made it ...
