I have done quite a few head gaskets etc in my time and usually use the "time engine to TDC then paint mark the pullys" before undoing everything. Not exactly a scientific method but effective whether this can be done accurately with a JX engine i dont know. It might be worth doing a quick...

I ended up getting an expert on these to do mine as well. I have -30mm AVO springs fitted, but it also now wears a full set of B4 dampers. The difference is awesome mines a hi top westy and it now handles and can cope with high winds. Potholed roads are now handled with ease!!!!!. If u can id recommend a new set of dampers as well as there bound to be past...

Removed cowlings so emery paper on contacts as they looked worn, and hey presto wipers and washers work again. Took longer to refit cowlings than to fix wipers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My 1.9 dg is also running rough. Just thought thats how they all were???!!!!?!. But please tell me where is this pipe. Mine has a LPG conversion on it so theres a lot of braided hose on it. Has anyone a piccy of this pipe please.
