Quite true but thats the 12v power for the fridge not the igniter.The igniter must be wired to a permanent live else it wont work when the ignition is off.

Do you have a fridge? I have wires off my main battery that power the auto igniter on my fridge ie.the igniter that automatically clicks if the flame goes out.

impossible to check for spark it just clonks and doesnt turn.

Engine Trouble

Coming home Sunday and engine lost all power and stopped,when I turn the key with a fully charged battery it just clicks.I,ve removed all the plugs and there's no sign of excess oil or foreign bodies.I,ve tried turning the engine with a big socket in the fan bit at the back behind the little plastic...

If you're talking about just the flex its just as easy to make your own and a lot cheaper.Any good electrical shop will have everything you need and it can be as long or short as you want.
