BIG diesel leak!!! My van has been trundling around with a whiff of diesel for a while so investigated it as it I noticed diesel actually droppinbg on the floor. After checking tightening and generally going mad looking for leaks it turns out it's leaking from this part of the pump when it's actuate...

The bracket throws the hose 2wd hoses straight into the front spring one full lock and the standard hoses arent long enough the other lock. Solution is a 90º adapter I hope!

That floor part forms a wall of the box section and does provide strength to the side panels, it's one side of a triangle basically but it isn't a massive structural memember but that side panel would flex a lot more! You could weld a new floor acroos to the side sill existing there but it may keep ...
