Re: Respray
Hi Italianjob, where did you get your respray done? We are just starting to look into having our van resprayed as the one that was done just before we bought it was done quite badly and huge flakes of paint are now coming away. We are in London but don't mind travelling for the right place & pri...

Re: Camp Fires
We got one of these a few years ago, quality didn't seem brilliant at first but we have used it so much for bbq-ing and for having log fires in and it's brill. Have had to replace one nut/bolt but apart from that it's still going strong. We got ours from Iwantoneofthose.com who don't seem to be doin...

Re: 12V Heating? Heaters in general?
And I repeat All I can say is do not waste any money on 12V heaters = they just don't give out any heat worth mentioning (if they did, they would flatten your battery in 10 minutes !!) Hi ghost123uk, Forgot to say in my previous post that I would only want to use it when driving , to clear the wind...

fenwicks cleaning products
hi all, Thought I had posted this last night but it seems to have vanished. I've got some surface rust appearing in some of the lower seams where the questionable paint job is cracking. I've been advised the rust will wash/rub off and I should then give the whole van a good wash, then apply a "...

Re: Bumpers and fridge Knobs for RM212F
Hi there, Horrible luck to have a bump on the way home from buying the camper!! I managed to reverse (quick rapidly!) into a lamp post not long after getting mine and had to replace the whole bumper, however you can get the end caps by themselves - think that's what you're referring to? Just Kampers...

Re: more free camping in France
This post couldn't have popped up at a better time for me! We are in the process of planning the details of a 3 week trip to france in June, unfortunately money is quite a bit tighter now than it was when we first planned and booked our ferries so this is perfect! And sounds like a lovely friendly w...

Re: campfires
Hi Vanda, We stayed in Manor Court Farm in March this year, it is indeed lovely isn't it! Going again with a group of friends for my 30th birthday next month, it's perfect as there is also a B&B for those that are not into camping at all! We mostly go to sites that allow campfires, it's what cam...

Re: My new camper... What is it ?
Hi Molly Man, Thanks for that! How cool to have a cocktail cabinet?! Not sure mine has that unless it's masquerading as something else! Still, plenty of room for booze in the buddy seat after we removed the stinky chemical toilet! So I take it you have a Holdsworth Villa too, can I be cheeky and ask...

Re: My new camper... What is it ?
Hi Molly Man, Thanks for that! There is definately no identification plate visible, I've cleaned every inch of that van since we bought it (when those pics were taken - bit cleaner looking now!) and saw nothing. I spoke to the previous owner to see if he knew what it was, and even the owner before t...

Viking roof seal
Hi all, The roof seal on our viking roof has been quite flaky looking since we got the van last year, but now everytime we open the roof up the seal is falling off so reckon it's time to replace it. Have seen replacement seals for sale at justKampers and also at campershop.co.uk, has anyone here don...

Re: My new camper... What is it ?
Ooh, am very excited to have found this thread, I have been trying to find out what conversion we have since we bought our camper over a year ago! Our interior looks exactly the same as Cypriot's, although we have a different roof, a viking spacemaker. Can I safely say that we have a Holdsworth Vill...
