Hi, I find that if I am having difficulty lighting it, then lighting one of the stove burners first helps. I slept in my camper in the snow over Christmas. I didn't need a heater - just used a sleeping bag with duvet over the top and for extra measure I wore my hat. Toasty warm and slept like a log. If you prepare yourself properly then you will have a kettle of water waiting to be boiled in the morning ...
