Brakes work but need Chris Hoyes thighs to stop quickly - also concerned about losing oil. Does anybody know ...

Hammerite underbody seal - yay or nay?

Have seen it in Halfords - does it work, are there any cheaper alternatives (£12.99 for 2l), how much will I need, will to much salt on the road give my van a heart attack?

Flex in the roofbar. - mainly because the bars are on their maximum extension to fit the width of the van. Aint no big deal though.

In my younger years when i occasionally kipped in my car after a night out (no room at the inn/to tight to pay for a taxi etc) i used to take of the dizzy cap/spark plug lead to imobilise the car - this way i could claim that there was no way i could drive/move the car should the fuzz knock on. Thou...

Flea-bay - last time i looked there were a few. Depending on what you have i.e. high roof/pop top - you want the ones which have come either a high or semi high roof van e.g transist.

Alternativily you could go to halfords - but they are a bit pricey

I ve got some of those brackets on my joker pop-top and there are plenty of cheap bars on flea-bay-I got a pair for £25 inc delivery - just make sure that they are wide enough - t25s are wider than the average car. Re. weight - all i put on the rack is the surf board - and even then there is a bit o...
