Fitting a propex heater

Does anyone have any experience of fitting a propex heater to a Westy? I'm assuming it can be supplied from the under slung gas tank? How's the wiring? I'm a complete novice at this, and it puts the fear of god into me!! It's a second hand unit I'm thinking of buying. Heater, loom, controller all in...

Race harnesses in the rear of a Westy with 3/4 bed

My sister in law has a late bay that was recently renovated by a speialist in West Sussex. As a specialist, I'm making the vivid assumption he knows what he's doing. As a solution to seating her two children in the back, he's fitted to race harnesses to hold their car seats in place. They're the 4 f...

Poly Bushes

Hey

I'm lowering the westy by 50mm with springs from Mr Baxter and Gas dampers.
Now..............everyone mentions replacing the bushes with poly ones. Which bushes are they?
Please let me know as people rave about them.

Cheers

Re: should i leave it???

I'm with Matty O. Keep it a tin top but put a full length rag top in it.
I think Golde used to make them for type 1's and type2's.
What are them rims and the colour. It looks lush!!

I'll keep digging.
The colour match and typeset on the decal is too good to be just a "stuck on squiggle". Plus it's positioned perfectly from side to side and not just bodged on like the old gti and turbo stickers you'd find on hillman avengers from the 70's.
Thanks

Interesting..........

Do you think it has special edition features that I'm yet to discover?
I'd go for an ejector seat.......or an optic over the rock and roll for a good single malt!!

It did cross my mind that it's not "2S" but actually "25". But then again as a German LHD import, bricks were known as T3's in the farterland, not T25 as the original decals suggest. Answers on a postcard or a sealed envelope to; TISWAS ATVland Birmingham B1 2JP. [IMG:500:375]htt...

Westy Joker 2S........what does the "S" mean?

Does anyone have any idea what the 2S on the door decal means? It's a pop top not a hi top, so I'd always assumed it was a joker 1 (it's an '83). So whilst it may well be a joker 2................what does the "S" stand for??? It's a 1.6D so I tend to doubt it stands for SPORT!! No r...

Thanks for all the input. I'm a newbie to T25's and I'm impressed by the knowledge and help available.

I'm going to look at an engine tomorrow so hopefully the bus will be back on the road in a week or two.

Cheers

Thanks for your input guys.

I've got the alloys now. I'll post pics when I'm done.

However as I made my final bid on ebay, the phone rang and it was our ever understanding mechanic telling us the 1.6D had died!!

Don't you just hate it when that happens?
