Re: Leisure battery not charging

The leisure battery is tooo loow so is trying to charge at a rate higher than the wiring and fuse can take. Charge the leisure up off the van system first (as advised earlier.)

Another part to watch out for:
Don't be tempted to use a chinese damper on a petrol fuel pump - I tried one and the plastic just dissolved into a gooey mess.

I make them so that they are the correct size to fit inside the box.

California Dreamin had one of my kits )

Better to ask the designer of the setup!

Re: Fuel leak after pump recon

Request a refund for the unnecessary pump overhaul - bloody garages. Computer reader rather than mechanic more than likely.

Re: Diesel Heaters

You can mount a webasto in a weather-tight box under the floor, provided you haven't utilized the space for tanks.

Re: Fuel leak after pump recon

Start at the top and work your way down.
Injector leak-off hoses are a favourite for leaking.
( I would de-grease that engine before anything then you will be able to see things clearly.)

Re: Radiator fan only working on low speed.3pin plug

My rad fan never came on with my 1.9 diesel - it never got so hot that it needed to do so. Never gave it a thought as it never overheated. I suppose it all depends upon how hard you push your engine, I never hammered mine.

I had no problem ( and I don't use phones or apps ) finding it - 1st result of a Google search. https://rpm-from-exhaust-bike-rpm.en.softonic.com/android?ex=RAMP-1768.3#:~:text=A%20free%20program%20for%20Android,the%20sound%20of%20the%20engine.&text=If%20you%20have%20a%20motorcycle,of%20your%20e...

Re: 1.6D Exhaust System

I just made my own exhaust for my 1.9 - better for the engine as it can then exhaust without constriction.
