no problem all i did was connect up realy like standard diesel only the main glow plug relay which lifes to key, starter and glow plug relay and add a piggy back live to the other live in pump and away she runs sweet the loom i used was a non turbo loom from a 85 van

which relay do you mean i swopped from dg to aaz put a standard cs derv wiring loom in i just connected up glow plugs and fuel pump wiring and oil and water temp if u can show me photos of where and what i will try to help you

ive got some on my t25 19 aaz td one side blasts the intercooler and oil cooler the other right onto the k&n induction bang on little trick to fit and look the part well pleased

glad you got it sorted if you remember the pain mine was with overheating then turbo died then after 300 miles the end of the crank died i put a new crank in replaced 3 valves also put a 3/4 inch boar turbo to sump pipe on.ive got the upgrade boost pin and golf gtd intercooler and k&n induction ...

it was running sweet only came to it and wouldnt go the crank altough used was pin point perfect and the pully was a tight fit just when we checked the timing it kept moving when we set the tenisoner so looks like a new 1z crank not a happy bunny to say the least

ive rebuilt a aaz td and after 500 miles the crank end pully has totally gone just went to it the other morning and it locked up i had tightened it up 90nm then 90 degrees and lock tighted it was all new pully crank and nut which would be the best crank to put in now just at the end of the rope with...

ive fitted one from a golf 2 gtd in the rear where the battery lives mine was a petrol before the aaz i put a cooling fan from a moterbike but havnt wired it up yet also used a mixture of golf 2 and passat 97 tdi pipe work looks like a factory fit when its done

at last im running no temp problems got the head sorted then turbo died fitted new turbo. then exhurst manifold gaskets (all new vw) blowing relaced and running with more new vw ones big tip IF YOU BUY A ENGINE FROM FLEA BAY IF YOU CAN HEAR IT RUN EVEN IF YOUR GOING TO REBUILD IT HEAR IT RUN OR DRIV...

the temp was still going nuts when i hit a hill after a new rad took the step to remove the head after a bits of air in water had it presure tested ok then a slight skim which found out it was 5 thou out on 2 cylinders rebuilt and run ok so far just got to try a hill in the morning

thanks for that ringo will try them. correct me if im wrong was it you who had the cooling problem with your aaz and swapped the rad, ive took mine of today im putting another on tommrow with a lower temp thermostat its driving me mad now

ive sorted a oil cooler got a beast from a audi rs4 just got to sort oil pipe work think a morgage is needed at £26.99 a meter ,still having problems with temp runs all day at half fan comes in the lot go up a hill and flys upto 3/4 and more soon as i hit flats down like a rocket ive flushed the rad...

i swaped it from a dj petrol today put the intercooler in the back by air vent seems good supply of air but fitted a motorbike fan to it to help from a flick switch on dash might get me mate electrical buff to make some sort of temp switch circit up for it im using a mix of plastic pipes of a passat...

bleed the water system no more heat takes a good 3 miles to warm up just got to run the engine in now

a vw trained and trusted techicsion im away for a week going to retry when i get back ive had it running and the fan comes in and i bleed the water system might retry bleeding it when i get back
