Since owning the van (1985, Lesiure Drive 1.9 petrol DG) I have only been able to fill the petrol tank to about £30 from the red. The old corroded tank has now been replaced with all fuel, breather hoses a...

Re: Pop top cover thingy?
Hi Mutley, Do you fully raise roof first? - Yeah - pop the roof up & once its attached on both sides you can slide the main part into position to get the right height its well easy no hassle at all. I sometimes use a tent pole or something similar :ok Mine's a 3/4 devon pop top and I can't see ...

Re: Thermo Mats?
I think the thermo mats are a good all round buy. They seem to be good in the winter all bar the condensation and wicked in the summer for keeping the van a little cooler and darker. If I'm on leccy hook up I use a small oil radiator about 700w its great & keeps the van toasty. Have thought abou...

Re: Pop top cover thingy?
I have a silver roof screen from pucerscreens. All I do is unroll it connect up one end then walk it round the van, once its connected by the old bungee cords its easy to move into position. Really makes a noticeable difference in the summer and also pretty good also in the winter.

Re: Cobb BBQ Excitement !
Most of my camping stuff is of the proper budget variety. I've been using the same stuff for years I think it adds to the whole camping experience if that makes sense. My favourite must be the mess tins that double up as pint pots for a cheeky beer or brew!
