Re: Minimum weight load for a tyre
Hi Guys, I have just ordered a set of XL Toyo reinforced tyres which are load rated to 94 each. I am running these on a Caravelle 7 seater microbus. Technically they seem ok for the weight and use of the vehicle. I occasionally tow my motorbike on a trailer with the bus. Should I get some higher rat...

Silly question; LSD
So I had my van in the air on a lift and was rotating the wheel. I had noticed the other wheel rotated in the opposite direction.
Does this mean that my Auto is fitted with a LSD?
not that I want to try burn outs or anything. Just asking...

Re: Full throttle power loss on Auto 2.1
Sounds very much like fuel starvation in both cases.. either furel pump is not keeping up, filter blocked, of on the injected engine the fuel pressure regulator is faulty... In either case, if it is starvation then you WILL cause engine damage.. get it checked out asap... Em, is this on gas or on p...

Re: Full throttle power loss on Auto 2.1
Hi chaps, Thanks for the comments.. Well first off I have adjusted the throttle cable correctly from the engine and under the pedal. This now means the Bus is much more responsive and drives around brilliantly. I tried the hill again (its a huge long climb) and the bus was going well. The kick down ...

Full throttle power loss on Auto 2.1
Hi chaps, I have a 88 2.1 Auto caravelle and it runs beautifully.... however I was driving it between junction 26 to 22 on the M62 yesterday and noted on the big hill up the motorway the Van was losing speed. Thats obviously normal as the van is brick shaped (wind tunnel tested). I had one passenger...

Hey I didn't want to start a mass debate and arguement. Look I thought that the Syncro from speaking to the owner was fairly sound and just required a reconned prop. However I wasn't prepared for the list of faults pointed out via email by a few people who have seen this bus and tested it prior to t...

Hi buddy, Yeah I am indeed that dyno and have been a T3 owner all that time since. Thanks for the wellcome back. Nice to have been remembered. :) I am very fussed about it being a Syncro with difflocks as I am planning to get muddy with the rest of these guys. I have done all the low suspension stuf...

Does anyone know the history of this SYNCRO
http://volkszone.co.uk/VZi/showthread.php?t=435809 I bought it after a few disscussions with the owner. There are apparently no issues with the bus apart from. Prop has been removed due to the previous owner saying to the current owner/seller that the prop was whining as it was out of balance. It re...

I've heard you should take a very close look at the r/h rear driveshaft, only mentioning this for safety's sake... I don't understand what you mean? Why should I look closly at the rear driveshaft when we are talking about the proshaft?? I am sorry you have lost me... Are you talking specifically a...

I'll be in the market for a rack as soon as my wallet recovers from the syncro purchase.
