PS mine is a 1989 club joker with the leisere batterie under the passenger seat

Disconect your ignighter cable from the spark generator (the one that runs to the thermocouple)plug the fridge back in and see if it clicks if it dose its your thurmocouple that needs a good clean (replacing)

I have a 1988 1.6 turbo ddiesel club joker, with the diesel eberspacher heater located under the van, and the heat exits from under the rear seat. well not only do i get heat but also fumes. and if it wernt for the dogs waking us up during the night i probably wouldent be writing this letter. anyway...
