just incase anyone is interested in using a domestic household paint for their vans its 6 months, 1500miles and 1 new girl friend later and the van and the paint are still both in place!! so my £20 for paint and a summers afternoons work payed off!!! does anyone have any ideas on a value for a van o...

i haven't done the conversion before, but i do have a workshop with most of the required tools, just outside of southend in essex

Well was servicing the van on saturday, and to my horror i think the rad drain plug must have been over tweaked when i changed the water last year, the plug is just turning but not turning on the thread. i would say 10mm copper will be adequate and is safe to use! what sort of pump do you use???

good idea with the tank location, will keep things nice and cool with the through flow of air! only tip is to just make sure you regularly turn over the water in the tank

i made a set of these from the B and Q thermal wrap stuff lastnight

i am very happy with the end result, only tricky part was the windscreen as it is about 800mm and the wrap is only 600mm wide, but nothing some gaffer tape and some chrome insulation tape couldn't sort out

total cost £23.00
