Re: Antiroll bar drop link

Hi I had a cranked antiroll bar snap at the point the thread enters the stub, I drilled and tapped the bar and fitted some studding either 8 or 10mm cant quite remember which. Still going strong after 6 months

Vacumn pipe missing

Hi
I have a 1981 Aircooled 2Ltr CU, could some one tell me why the vacumn pipe between the 2 butterfly valves on the drivers side carb has been blanked off.
I have just rebuilt the carbs and wandering why somebody would have done this to just 1 of the carbs and not the other.

Re: exhaust fumes in cab

I was getting an oilly smell coming through the vents. I found the rubber tube missing from the front of the alternator fan and the air intake on the rear body work. This meant fresh air was coming into the heating system rather than air from the engine bay.

Hi
Just booked a week in cornwall in the school holidays, first place we phoned were fully booked.
The second place had only one place left so its worth booking, if it just saves you going from 1 campsite to the next looking for space.
