Jimmypatch what did you do about the speed senser from the gear box ?

Welcome to a large family of Type 25 lovers..... Its a genral opinion that the 5 speed is not as durable as the 4 speed and the final drive is almost the same.... and the gear leavers are totaly different.. as to the clutch slip ????? oil leak from that end of the crank ? worn fly wheel ? it's and h...

seems to be a faulty accelerotor senser thing.....so was wired up ok

I was just hoping someone had the same symptoms I did not expect a remote diagnoses...

Oviousily you are guessing.....maybe a complete lack of speed sensor ?

or and faulty acccelarator sensor.....had the whole Audi so belive wirerd correctly. NO pics needed diagram possibilty.

If you the original 1z set up in its on the pump but controlled by the ecu i think ( just done a conversion ) you can hear it click when the ignition is turned on.....

wow that realy useful.....the preice of a mtdi pump is putting me off......

ok it drives but.............. revs to not cut back quick enough for me when changing gear (donor car was an auto) .......... and there is no throttle responce sometimes let off put back down and off it go's....do I need the brake switch input connected ? Alco pump clicks when you attach battery and...

ok drove on the road today........... throttle is very delayed, I let off to change up and the revs dont drop straight away ? any body ? Also battery went dead over night ? ..... and when I connect the power the pump clicks is that normal ? thought all red white wires were perminant live and green r...

Only got it running on Wednesday and revved with no exhaust........well pleaseed

Is it right that a mech pump to replace the TDi one would cost a fortune ? or is there a cheap alternative ?
